Ingredients
- 2 lbs lamb shoulder, bone-in
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
- In a bowl, mix the minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the lamb shoulder in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is well coated.
- Cover the roasting pan with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven.
- Cook for 4 hours, or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the meat to brown.
- Once cooked, remove the lamb from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
