Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dates, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the chopped dates, walnuts, cardamom, and cinnamon.
  5. Take a small piece of dough and flatten it into a circle. Place a spoonful of the date and walnut mixture in the center, then fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges to form a biscuit.
