- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup pitted dates, chopped
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour, salt, and cardamom to the bowl and mix until a dough forms.
- In a separate bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, dates, and water to make the filling.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Take a small portion of the dough and flatten it into a circle. Place a spoonful of the date and walnut filling in the center, then fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges to form a crescent shape.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool before serving.
