Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined, then shape the mixture into meatballs.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir in the flour to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Stir in the heavy cream, capers, and lemon juice. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the Königsberger Klopse Meatballs with the creamy caper sauce over cooked egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
