Ingredients
- 1 cup rice
- 4 cups milk
- 4-5 green cardamom pods, crushed
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the rice, milk, and crushed cardamom pods.
- Place the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and the mixture has thickened.
- Stir in the sugar and continue to cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
