Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 tablespoons coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the mutton pieces and cook until they turn brown.
  4. Stir in the tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat until the mutton is tender, stirring occasionally.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
