Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of water spinach (kong xin cai)
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the water spinach thoroughly and cut into 2-inch lengths.
  2. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the water spinach to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until wilted.
  5. Season with soy sauce and salt, and continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
