Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Coat the chicken wings in cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs, and fry in the hot oil until golden and crispy.
- In a separate saucepan, combine ketchup, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, water, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens.
