Kori Rotti With Ghee Roast (spicy Chicken Ghee Roast)

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • Rice wafers (Rotti) for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic, and sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook on medium heat until the chicken is tender and the masala is well-cooked.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with crispy rice wafers (Rotti).
