Ingredients

  • 500g mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 10-12 kori rotti (crispy rice wafers)

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add the mutton pieces and cook until they are browned.
  4. Stir in the tomato puree, yogurt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add water, cover the pan, and cook the mutton until tender.
  6. Sprinkle garam masala and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the spicy mutton curry with crispy kori rotti.
