Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground whitefish, onion, eggs, matzo meal, sugar, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the fish mixture into oval-shaped patties and place them in a greased baking dish.
  4. Drizzle the vegetable oil over the fish patties.
  5. Arrange the carrot, celery, and lemon slices around the fish patties in the baking dish.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
