Ingredients
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 500g chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 stalks green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Rinse the jasmine rice and drain well. Place it in the claypot.
- Arrange the chicken pieces on top of the rice.
- Spread the minced garlic and sliced onion over the chicken.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken and rice.
- Pour the chicken broth into the claypot.
- Cover the claypot and cook over medium heat for 30-35 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through.
- Sprinkle chopped green onions over the cooked rice and chicken before serving.
