Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine coconut milk, soy sauce, brown sugar, turmeric powder, ground coriander, cumin, garlic, and onion to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred.
