Ingredients

  • 2 cups jowar flour (sorghum flour)
  • 1 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine jowar flour, chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, cumin seeds, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and flatten them into round discs using your palms.
  4. Heat a tawa (griddle) over medium heat and place the flattened discs on it.
  5. Cook the bhakris on both sides until golden brown spots appear.
  6. Serve hot with ghee or yogurt.
