Kothimbir Puri (कोथिंबीर पूरी)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for kneading
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, chopped coriander leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  2. Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a firm dough.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into puris using a rolling pin.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the puris until they puff up and turn golden brown.
  5. Remove the puris from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with chutney or curry of your choice.
