Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Water for kneading
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, chopped coriander leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
- Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a firm dough.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll them out into puris using a rolling pin.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the puris until they puff up and turn golden brown.
- Remove the puris from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with chutney or curry of your choice.
