Kotor Bay Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the tomato sauce and broth. Pour the mixture over the stuffed peppers.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the peppers, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
