Kpokpoi Party
Kpokpoi is a traditional Ghanaian dish made with corn dough and served with a flavorful soup. It's a popular dish for gatherings and celebrations, making it perfect for a Kpokpoi party!
Ingredients
- 4 cups corn dough
- 1 cup cassava dough
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup palm oil
- 2 cups water
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the corn dough, cassava dough, and water. Mix well to form a smooth, thick paste.
- Add the chopped onion, tomatoes, and spinach to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the palm oil and salt to the pot. Stir well and continue cooking for an additional 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and allow the Kpokpoi to cool slightly before serving.
