Krembo Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 krembo treats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and continue beating until well combined.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the springform pan.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Let it cool completely.
  6. Once the cheesecake is cooled, place the krembo treats on top of the cheesecake.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
