Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 cup groundnut powder (or peanut powder)
- 2 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the groundnut powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, salt, and vegetable oil to make the marinade.
- Add the beef strips to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef strips onto the soaked wooden skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
