Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for 1 hour.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C) and fry the chicken until golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken from the fryer and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
