Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup dark rum
- ½ cup milk
Instructions

- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

- Gradually mix in the flour mixture, alternating with the rum and milk until just combined.
