Kruschiki
Kruschiki, also known as angel wings, are a traditional Polish dessert that are popular during holidays and special occasions. These delicate, crispy pastries are lightly dusted with powdered sugar and are perfect for serving with coffee or tea.

Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until well combined.
- Add the sour cream, brandy, and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Sift the flour and salt into the wet ingredients, and mix until a smooth dough forms.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough until very thin, then cut into diamond shapes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully fry the kruschiki in batches until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- Dust the kruschiki with powdered sugar before serving.
