Ingredients
- 4 Käsekrainer sausages
- 4 slices of cheese (Emmental or Gouda)
Instructions
- Using a sharp knife, make a slit lengthwise in each sausage, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Insert a slice of cheese into the slit of each sausage.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and place the sausages in the pan.
- Cook for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausages are browned and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
