Ingredients

  • 4 Käsekrainer sausages
  • 4 slices of cheese (Emmental or Gouda)

Instructions

  1. Using a sharp knife, make a slit lengthwise in each sausage, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  2. Insert a slice of cheese into the slit of each sausage.
  3. Heat a pan over medium heat and place the sausages in the pan.
  4. Cook for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausages are browned and the cheese is melted.
  5. Remove from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
