Kuchmachi Twist (კუჭმაჩი)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken livers to the skillet and cook until they are no longer pink in the center.
  4. Stir in the chopped walnuts, pomegranate seeds, and parsley.
  5. Pour in the red wine vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Remove from heat and let the kuchmachi cool for a few minutes before serving.
