Ingredients
- 500g chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, chopped
- 4-5 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 cup mustard oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat mustard oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and fenugreek seeds. Sauté until they crackle.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Add turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are slightly browned.
- Add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
