Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn golden brown.
- Stir in the tomato puree, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the chicken. Cook for another 10 minutes until the chicken is tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
