Kulau (taro Leaf Soup)
Kulau is a traditional Palauan dish made with taro leaves and coconut milk. It's a simple and comforting soup that is packed with flavor and nutrients.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch of taro leaves, washed and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can of coconut milk
- 4 cups of water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the chopped taro leaves and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the coconut milk and water, then bring to a simmer.
- Let the soup simmer for 30-40 minutes, or until the taro leaves are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
