Ingredients
- 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
- 1 red onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 red chilies, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the diced mangoes, chopped red onion, and red chilies.
- Add vinegar, sugar, and salt to the saucepan.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mangoes are soft and the chutney thickens.
- Remove from heat and let the chutney cool to room temperature.
- Transfer the chutney to a sterilized jar and refrigerate until ready to serve.
