Kundasang Vegetable Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the carrot, bell pepper, snap peas, and broccoli. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
  5. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss to coat. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and serve the Kundasang Vegetable Stir-Fry hot.
