Ingredients
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
- 4 packs of ramen noodles
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 2-3 dried red chilies
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess water, then cut it into cubes.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and cornstarch to make the sauce.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and dried red chilies to the pan and stir-fry for a minute.
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and stir to coat. Add the cooked ramen noodles and toss to combine.
- Finally, add the roasted peanuts and chopped green onions, then stir-fry for another minute.
- Remove from heat and serve the Gōngbǎo Dòufu Ramen hot, garnished with extra peanuts and green onions if desired.
