Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the lamb, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the lamb is marinating, prepare the mint yogurt sauce by mixing the yogurt, chopped mint, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Thread the marinated lamb onto skewers.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the lamb kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
