Kwail (roasted Quail)

Ingredients
- 4 quails, cleaned and patted dry
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, five-spice powder, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Place the quails in a roasting pan and season with salt and pepper.
- Brush the quails with the sauce mixture, making sure to coat them evenly.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the quails are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let the quails rest for a few minutes before serving.
