Ingredients

  • 500g kway teow noodles
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 200g prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sliced onion, and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tomatoes and cook until they start to break down.
  4. Add the prawns and cook until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Push the ingredients to one side of the wok, and pour the beaten eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
  6. Add the kway teow noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir-fry until the noodles are well-coated and heated through.
  7. Adjust seasoning to taste, and serve hot.
