Kyar Zan Kyaw (crispy Chili Beef With Cashews)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 2-3 red chilies, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and crispy. Remove from the wok and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add the garlic, onion, and chilies. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Return the beef to the wok and add the cashews, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Season with salt to taste and serve hot.
