Ingredients
- 1 whole duck, cut into pieces
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup plum sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Pat the duck pieces dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge the duck pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the duck pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes per batch.
- In a small saucepan, combine the plum sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, garlic, and water.
- Cook over medium heat until the sauce is heated through and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Serve the crispy duck with the plum sauce on the side.
