Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2-3 red chilies, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine (or dry sherry)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and red chilies, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Add the bell pepper and green onions, and stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, and salt. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot with steamed rice.
