Ingredients
- 500g thinly sliced beef
- 200g enoki mushrooms
- 200g tofu, cut into cubes
- 150g Chinese cabbage, chopped
- 100g mung bean sprouts
- 100g glass noodles
- 4 cups chicken or beef broth
- 1/2 cup Sichuan peppercorns
- 1/4 cup chili oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the hot pot broth by bringing the chicken or beef broth to a boil in a hot pot or large pot.
- Add the Sichuan peppercorns, chili oil, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and sugar to the broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the beef, mushrooms, tofu, Chinese cabbage, mung bean sprouts, and glass noodles to the hot pot and cook until the beef is cooked and the vegetables are tender.
- Enjoy the hot pot by dipping the cooked ingredients into the flavorful broth.
