Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2-3 Thai chilies, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 tbsp roasted rice powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the beef, mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green onions, shallots, and Thai chilies.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, fish sauce, lime juice, roasted rice powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. Pour the dressing over the beef and herb mixture, and toss to combine.
  4. Let the salad marinate for 10 minutes before serving.
