Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the yogurt and salt together.
  2. Place a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth over a strainer and pour the yogurt mixture into it. Let it drain in the refrigerator for 8-12 hours, or until it reaches the desired thickness.
  3. Once the labneh has reached the desired thickness, transfer it to a serving bowl and stir in the chopped mint, dill, and minced garlic.
  4. Drizzle the labneh with olive oil and serve with pita bread or vegetables.
