Labneh is a creamy and tangy yogurt dip that is popular in Navyath Muslim Cuisine. It is simple to make and can be enjoyed with pita bread, vegetables, or as a spread in sandwiches.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of plain yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions
- Place the yogurt in a cheesecloth or muslin cloth, tie it up, and hang it over a bowl to drain for 8-12 hours in the refrigerator.
- Once the yogurt has thickened, transfer it to a bowl and stir in the salt.
- Drizzle with olive oil before serving.
