Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized squid, cleaned and scored
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped spring onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and chili flakes.
  2. Marinate the cleaned squid in the mixture for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the squid for 2-3 minutes on each side, basting with the marinade until cooked through.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
