Lagan nu Bhonu (लगन नूं भोनू)

Ingredients

  • 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
  • 2 large onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, marinate the mutton with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated mutton to the pan and cook on medium heat until the mutton is tender and the oil separates from the masala.
  4. Once the mutton is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
