लगन नूं भोनू (Lagan nu Bhonu) is a traditional Parsi feast that is typically served at weddings and special occasions. This elaborate meal consists of a variety of flavorful dishes that showcase the rich and diverse flavors of Parsi cuisine.
Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, marinate the mutton with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan and sauté the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add the marinated mutton to the pan and cook on medium heat until the mutton is tender and the oil separates from the masala.
- Once the mutton is cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
