Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3-4 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
- Stir in the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook for a few minutes.
- Add the sliced bell peppers, chopped tomatoes, and green chilies. Cook until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
