Ingredients
- 500g ground chicken
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
- 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together ground chicken, onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, fresh coriander, gram flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Shape the mixture into small balls to make koftas.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the tomato puree and cook for a few minutes. Then add yogurt, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.
- Add the fried koftas to the curry, cover, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan or rice.
