Ingredients
- 500g fish fillets, cut into pieces
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
- Now add the tomato puree, green chilies, and all the dry spices. Cook until the oil separates.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the pan. Cook for a few minutes.
- Add the fish pieces and gently mix with the curry. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
