Ingredients
- 500g boneless fish fillets
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to form a smooth batter.
- Cut the fish fillets into desired sizes and coat them evenly with the prepared batter.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the fish fillets until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Remove the fried fish from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with a side of mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
