Ingredients

  • 500g boneless fish fillets
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to form a smooth batter.
  2. Cut the fish fillets into desired sizes and coat them evenly with the prepared batter.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the fish fillets until golden and crispy on both sides.
  4. Remove the fried fish from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Serve hot with a side of mint chutney or tamarind sauce.
