Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of white fish (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely sliced
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the fish fillets with red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn into a thick paste.
  4. Gently place the marinated fish fillets into the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping once, until the fish is cooked through.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
