Ingredients
- 4 fillets of white fish (such as tilapia or cod)
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 onion, finely sliced
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the fish fillets with red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn into a thick paste.
- Gently place the marinated fish fillets into the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping once, until the fish is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
