Ingredients
- 1 kg mutton, cut into pieces
- 2 large onions, finely sliced
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/4 cup oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot and sauté the onions until golden brown.
- Add the mutton pieces and ginger-garlic paste. Cook until the mutton changes color.
- Whisk the yogurt and add it to the pot along with red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Cover the pot and let the mutton cook on low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until tender.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
