Lamb Satay (sate Kambing Skewers)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, soy sauce, and vegetable oil to create the marinade.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and let it sit for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  4. Heat a grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the lamb skewers for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Serve the lamb satay hot with rice and peanut sauce.
