Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb, cut into chunks
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 carrots, sliced

  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup apricots, chopped
  • 1/4 cup prunes, chopped
  • 8 cups water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the lamb, onion, carrots, potatoes, chickpeas, raisins, apricots, prunes, and water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, skimming off any foam that rises to the surface.
