Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup apricots, chopped
- 1/4 cup prunes, chopped
- 8 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the lamb, onion, carrots, potatoes, chickpeas, raisins, apricots, prunes, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, skimming off any foam that rises to the surface.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
